A Founding Girl's Guide to Summer

There's something about summer that makes a normal day feel a little special. Schedules relax, dinner gets pushed later, and somehow a trip to the library or an afternoon at the lake becomes the kind of memory that sticks around for years.

I put together this Summer Guide as a simple collection of ideas to help fill those long days. It's not meant to be another checklist or something to complete perfectly. Think of it more like a starting point or a place to find a little inspiration when you need it.

Inside you'll find ideas for getting outside, noticing the world around you, reading together, trying something new, and building small traditions that children often remember long after the season is over.

What's included:

  • A printable Summer Guide
  • Outdoor activities and adventures
  • Reading and learning ideas
  • Nature observations
  • Simple traditions to try as a family

My hope is that this guide gets used. I hope by the end of the summer it's almost destroyed and by no means kept perfect. Print it, fold it into a beach bag, leave it on the kitchen counter, or stick it to the refrigerator. Cross things off, skip the ones that don't fit your family, and add your own ideas along the way.

You can download the free printable below. I hope it helps make this summer just a little more curious, adventurous, and full of stories worth telling.

Happy summer,
